How We Handle Credentials
Where credentials are relevant, Med Honors relies on available public records and submitted materials. Board certification, specialty training, fellowship, accreditation, and professional memberships are treated as distinct credentials and attributed as specifically as the available record supports.
When submitted information differs from available public records, our editorial team reviews the discrepancy before publication. The goal is accurate attribution without overstating what the available record establishes.
The Expert Honors Research Platform
Med Honors uses the Expert Honors platform as a research aid, aggregating publicly available professional information and peer nomination data at scale. It assists our research process; all decisions are made under the published criteria. The platform does not assess clinical outcomes or medical competency.
